  A woman that inspires me is Misty May-Treanor. She has made many accomplishments in 
her  volleyball career that lasted for many years, along with her partner Kerri Walsh. Misty grew up playing beach volleyball at the
Santa Monica Pier with her parents, 1968 volleyball Olympian, Butch May and Barbara May, a 
nationally ranked tennis player. In her life she achieved winning 3 Olympic Gold Medals. Her 
ability to play volleyball and win many gold medals at a fairly young age inspires me as a 
volleyball player to be like her. Also she is situated with many companies that are associated with volleyball such as  Nike, Wheaties, AT&T, Visa, Arnold/Oroweat/Brownberry Breads, Purina, Gatorade, Stouffers, OPI, Spalding, Teva Respiratory, Topps, Abreva and more. All together I see Misty May as an outstanding Role Model.
